Vegetarian Boy Update

I discovered today that it is not meat Ethan detests. It is the way his mother prepares meat that he turns his nose up at! At daycare: chili with beans, sausage, and onions. At home: pulled pork is thrown on the floor. At daycare: salami & cheese (ick). At home: turkey sandwich is finely separated so that the bread can be eaten and the turkey is on the floor. I'm trying not to take it personally. :)

I've been meaning to tell you that Charlotte also went through a vegetarian phase. I could not get her to eat meat forever! Now, she finally has started to eat a few meat things. Her faves are pork roast and soyu chicken (like teriyaki chicken). Before that, she just ate a lot of bread, dairy products, and tortellini. Hopefully Ethan will grow out of it too! (I've noticed that Charlotte in generally has become a less picky eater in the last couple of months.)

Soyu chicken - that's 1 C. water, 1 C. sugar, and 1 C. soy sauce, right? I made that once after you told me about it, and LOVED it. I like the tortellini idea - we haven't tried that!
